Where Does The Time Go?

Wow, I haven't posted anything here in over a month. Guess that shows I have been BUSY since returning to Bass Lake! So here goes...

1. Went to King City to help give niece Katie a baby shower the end of May.
2. Had a wonderful visit with friends Jim and Linda Stych from the Denver area. Linda was able to come spend a night with us and we had fun taking pictures of Bass Lake, old barns, and Linda got to meet Cambria and Carsten (their daughter Jaimie played basketball with Sara). 3. Went to watch grandaughter Cambria at her swimming lesson. She jumped off the side of the pool for the first time. She is becoming quite the swimmer (takes after Mom and Grandma!)
4. Went to Visalia for niece Emily's graduation from 8th grade. Wow, high school!
5. Attended the annual Fresno State Enology Dept. Celebration of Wine. Visited with friends, including Lorrie Rogers from Hahn Estates Winery. Great food and wine, too.
6. Annual window cleaning was done by Kevin, who does a fantastic job. Clear perspective now.

7. Niece Katie gave birth to Brinleigh Marie (after Dad (Marion) and his sister Marie Pope Burdick) on Tuesday. Get this: born on 6/16, weighed 6/6, at 1:32 (totals 6)! Ya think that might be her lucky number!

9. Took Cambria to see her first movie in the theater: Disney Pixar Studio's UP!
10. Going to babysit the two grandkids tonight! Cambria and I love slumber parties.

11. Got to see the 4D pictures of #3 grandchild. He is about 3 pounds now. We are anxious for his early September arrival. He will be his great-grandparents (Popes) 10th grandchild!!!

12. Anxious to get to see little Brinleigh this weekend when we go to King City for Father's Day. Happy Father's Day to all the dad's out there. Enjoy your special day.

13. Here are a couple of pics of Bass Lake from yesterday (6/17). The lake is at 76% of capacity because PG&E is doing a semismic retrofit to the earthen dam. Still plenty of water and we ordered a new tube for all boating fun with all of our summer visitors. We are expecting a bunch from Arizona, New Orleans, Visalia, Clovis, and King City over the weekend of July 4th!
