Black Friday

Tea, Shopping, and Birthday Celebration!

On Black Friday, the biggest shopping day of the year....we couldn't be left out! The girls ventured to downtown Clovis for tea and lunch at the Victorian Tea Room. We enjoyed their two Christmas teas, one was berry and the other spice, as well as salads, soups, and sandwiches.
Cambria was bundled up in her stroller.Kim, Marilyn, and Marsha waiting for lunch.

So are Mom, Leslie, and Laurie.Inside, Cambria was entralled by the mirrors and the tree next to her seat!Cambria had to be just like the big girls and have her tea, too.I think she enjoyed putting the sugar and milk more than drinking the tea.Kim, Susan, and Katie were at one end of the table...Mom, Marilyn, and Marsha were at the other end. This is all eleven of us after eating our lunch.
Miss Emily and Miss Katie discovered the hat room at the tea house!
None of us wanted to fight the shoppers at the malls, so we leasurely strolled down Pollasky Street and shopped in a couple of stores.
Great Grandma and Cambria practiced up on their rendition of The Pony Riders...
The Old Prospector is waylayed by the three girls! Cambria just loves her cousins and talks about them every day.
Laurie's Birthday Celebration
Friday night we celebrated Laurie's birthday (really Dec 2) with turkey soup that Dennis had been tending all day...and leftovers from Thanksgiving. Yum, Yum!
She actually had two cakes...the coconut one shown below and a chocolate ice cream cake from Coldstone Creamery.
What a fun weekend we had! Thanks everyone for making it that!!!
