Potpourri

Pre Thanksgiving Dinner
We enjoyed having Evan and Kim here for almost a week the end of November. Here are a couple of pics from a dinner we had in Bass Lake the day before Thanksgiving.
Dinner Club December Gathering
Our December dinner was held at the Adames' home last Saturday night with all four member couples present. Pre-dinner was two champagnes with various artisan cheeses accompanied by prosciutto wrapped asparagus. Then we progressed to a winter green salad with apples, butternut squash, and blue cheese paired with Four Bears Chardonnay. The main course was filet with mushroom gravy and mashed potatoes served with Lion's Peak Cabernet. For dessert I made a chocolate bread pudding that had Kahlua undertones along with a great Ficklin tawny port.

Family Fun
It has been fun having Sara, Todd, and Cambria so close now. We have been spending time together having lunches, watching gymnastics, and babysitting! Here are some pics of the new ballerina-in-training.

I'm so jealous! I wish we were closer to family, too. You must be loving having your girls so close!
