* On Friday of last week we unloaded the den wall unit cabinets at our house and then the garage cabinets at Evan and Kim's house. Joey and Todd will be here on Friday for the weekend and will install all the cabinets. Here are the guys doing some of the work...
* Our friend Greg Siomiak, of South Lake Tahoe, arrived on Sunday evening. He and Ken played doubles in the Arizona Senior Olympics Pickleball Tournament. They lost the first and third matches and won the one with the pair in the pictures below...
They will be playing their singles matches on Saturday and we will post the results then!
* Yesterday (Feb 25) we went to the opening day Cactus League baseball game at the new Goodyear Stadium. We saw the Cleveland Indians (home team) get beat by our own San Francisco Giants 10-7. It is a beautiful $108 million dollar facility. The highlight was getting a picture with Hall Of Fame Indians pitcher Bob Feller.
* Last night nine of us went to dinner at the Anacapa Restaurant here at Corte Bella for their Mardi Gras Jamabalaya Fest (Beringsons, Wrights, Greg, and the four Engles). We had a great time! We've had some other great dinners here, which is playing havoc with my diet!
* I have been walking in the morning with my friends of the Corte Bella Walkers and enjoying the pool in the afternoon.
* Ken, Greg, and Don have been playing lots of pickleball.
