Here are a couple of gorgeous sunset pics I took last week from our backyard.
For those not on Facebook (I posted the following pictures a few days ago), here is an update on the Arizona house.
Dining and Great Room...we purchased a new picture for above the fireplace!
The Den...new cabinets complete the room.
The Casita...new end tables, lamps, and pictures.
Courtyard...new lattices and the plants are really growing.
Our patio furniture for relaxing in nice weather.
The table and umbrella for outside dining.
Backyard...we installed trellises for the climbing plants. Had to do some pruning on the rosemary and lantanas.On Tuesday night Evan and Kim took us to a new restaurant Amuse Bouche for dinner. It was wonderful (Kim ordered the best dish, halibut) and we will return again! The guys enjoyed their French onion soup...
Kim had a Wisconsin cheese soup and I had a salad with candied pecans.
Dessert was bread pudding, chocolate ganache, and pecan pie!CLOVIS
On Wednesday afternoon I visited with Sara and the grandkids. Cambria is very proud of her garden and she and Mom are having fun with it. I helped plant the red onions and spinach. Sara came up with the plan for the Square Foot Garden, with the help of a book on gardening! Each sqaure foot has something different planted in it.
Cambria showed Grandma how well she is riding her Christmas tricycle now...even backwards!
