Report on the Birthday Weekend

This past weekend we had a gathering of my parents and the five siblings and their spouses and boyfriend. We started the time with Friday night dinner on the boat, docked at Ducey's and listening to Jazz on the Lake.

Walking the length of the dock to our boat can be like walking a swinging rope bridge!

Linda helping Mom and Dad make the trek!

Laurie enjoying the late afternoon boat ride to Ducey's.

Dave, Daymond, Laurie and Ken enjoying the music and libations after we had docked at
Ducey's.

Susan, Linda, Dad and Mom relaxing.

Kenny enjoying the grilled chicken and vegetable sanwich and pasta salad.

Saturday morning...Linda and Susan posing next to the Stargazer lillies in full bloom.

Marsha, Dennis and Laurie shucking the Fresno State corn for dinner.

Kenny getting the chicken ready to marinate for the birthday dinner.

The cardsharks Dave, Linda and Daymond!

The five siblings (in order) posing for a "posterity picture".
Dave and Linda's birthdays were celebrated, although more than a month early, because we won't be together on their acutal birthdays.

Linda, Dave and Susan get to blow out the candles on the German chocolate cake.

Mom, Dad, and Leslie with the white chocolate cake.

The two birthday girls get in the act!

Leslie, Frank and Dennis enjoying the dessert which also included the infamous Georgia Peach Ice Cream from my last blog posting.

On Sunday we had a pickleball tournament, won by Linda and Ken. Dave and Ken barbecued wonderful tri-tip from Raley's with a great smokehouse rub. Several people went with Kenny out on the boat to see the fireworks on Sunday night.

We also did the picture taking routine again (thank you, Frank). These last pictures were from that session.
