Arizona Home Update

Today I went shopping for the first time since we came down to Arizona...I mean ALL DAY shopping. (Target, Bed Bath and Beyond, Kirkland Home Store, Home Depot, Marshalls, Recollections, Joanns, Smart and Final) Along with some necessary items, I was able to find some things for the house and some good deals at the scrapbook store that is going out of business. Kenny walked over to the fitness center for some treadmill activity and the whirlpool (for his still aching muscles), too. He always find someone who "talks his ear off" and he ends up spending way more time than he planned on spending over there!

When I returned we had a little lunch and checked out what the landscape crew had done today, then Kenny found a comfortable place in front of the fireplace for reading and watching the evening news.

I found a down comforter and pillows for our master bedroom and the vase on top of the bureau.

This is the second bedroom (in blues and browns) and the mission style furniture.
We have been enjoying the new chair and ottoman for the den, which is at the front of the house. I even brought one of my watercolor pictures for this room.

Today is Dad's 88th birthday. We are disappointed that we aren't there to help him celebrate, but we called and talked to everyone this morning. Tonight we are going to Buffalo Wild Wings with Evan (Kimmy is getting read for her weekend trip to visit her sister in New Orleans) to watch the UofA basketball game and have dinner. It has been quite cold here the past couple of days and very windy, but the wind has died down tonight. It is supposed to get into the low 30s tonight....hope our new plants make it through these cold nights!

did you find any good deals at the SB for me as a finders fee? Is it Grandpa's 87th or 88th? You and your sister disagree....

The house looks good!
