Happy New Year

It is 2008!!! Happy New Year to all!

Last night we celebrated in Fresno at Fort Washington Country Club with eight other friends. Had a pre-party at the Crafts' with their family favorite "old fashions"...which I probably hadn't had since college days! It was a tropical theme with a mostly fish buffet (also great filet mignon), DJ/Dancing, and gambling with a drawing for some great prizes. We left just after midnight and came back to Bass Lake, then finished off the evening at our neighbors, the Marzullos, until 3AM. That is why Ken is still in bed and it is almost noon! I, on the other hand, was up at 8AM to watch the Rose Bowl Parade from Pasadena.

January 1st is traditionally the day to take down the Christmas decorations while watching the multitude of football games. And yes, Fresno State won the Humanitarian Bowl with a win over Georgia Tech yesterday! Go Bulldogs!

As far as New Year's resolutions go, I have a couple: Lose weight, get in shape, and do more watercolor paintings!!!
